Respect is earned, not given, as you can’t force others to give you respect

Respect is earned by giving it to others! As we know, Respect is something that should be given and received by all. There are so many individuals on this earth who lack respect, yet they believe they should automatically receive it. Everyone deserves to be respected, regardless of their gender, race, sexual orientation, and anything else that represents who they are.

Respect means that you accept somebody for who they are, even when they’re different from you, or you don’t agree with them. Respect can build your relationships, feelings of trust, safety, and wellbeing. It doesn’t have to come naturally; it is something you learn. When you behave in a way that’s respectful, you’re doing something to show admiration for another person.

You might sit in respectful silence when you feel others want to disrespect you. Being polite, showing kind regard, Supportiveness, and helping others. Caring for someone or something else. Be respectful of other people and their choices. It is their life, and they get to do with it what they please.

We should not feel shame for anyone for who they are, what they wear, what they like, and what they dislike. Let’s all be respectable human beings and share the kindness that we receive from others, the world is too big for us to live peacefully. The only bad thing that can come out of that is that we do not receive respect back, but at least we can say we have done our part.

I only believed, “Respect is earned, not given” if you want to be respected, you can’t force people to respect you just because you want them to.
